Jammu, May 19: Shanti Path Trust (SPT), Trikuta Nagar organized a mega free medical and Dental camp at village Nagola block Dansal.
As per press release, the camp organized Jammu in association Director Health Services, Department of Ophthalmology Government Medical College & Hospital (GMC) Indira Gandhi Govt Dental College(IGGDC), Director Indian System of Medicines (ISM) and Jan Chetna Rural Dev Forum Village Nagola is a remote area about five km (fair weather track) from Jandrah with no medical facilities aroud and has population who live in extreme poverty.
SPT camp catered to population of all remote villages of adjoining hills where some people tracked long distances to reach camp site. This is SPT's second camp in area. This camp had services of seven specialists. Eight hundred and twelve patients took advantage of this opportunity.In the camp specialists examined 42 Gynaecology cases, Eye-137, medical specialist-37, Dental-91 (10 extractions, 10 fillings, 20 restorations , ENT-39 , ISM-137 , Physiotherapy -43 and acupressure 51.
The team of specialists and staff included Dr Shagufta Rather, Priyanka Sodani, Satinder, Shazia, Chunauti and Anjali (Eye) from GMC , Drs Paramjeet Singh, Anjuman and Hygenist Ajit from IGGDC, Drs Narender Khullar (ENT), Indra Bhatyal (Gynae) and Sunil Raina (Physician) from CMO Jammu, Drs Prerna Sharma, Neetu Handoo and Deepak (Phar) from Director ISM . |
