| Dulhasti management to open dam, cautions public | | |

Jammu, June 23: The Management of Dulhasti Power Station, NHPC Limited has cautioned general public of Kishtwar/ Doda / Ramban not to move near river Chenab from 25 June (10 PM) to 26 June (8 PM) June, as the gates of Dulhasti Power Station Dam would be opened for periodical reservoir flushing.
During this period the water level may rise temporarily. Therefore, the public residing near River Chenab downstream areas is being cautioned to refrain from moving themselves / their cattle/ trucks and tippers near the banks of River Chenab to avoid any mishap.
Anybody violating the request shall be doing so at his own risk and responsibility and NHPC/Management of Dulhasti Power Station shall not be responsible for consequences thereof, reads the release. |
