| Exposed by Omar, BJP leaders yet to approach court of law | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 23: Ever since Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has exposed the real face of some of the BJP legislators in public domain, the self styled 'netas' of Jammu have vanished from the scene. It is more than one week now that the BJP leaders, who had threatened to drag Chief Minister to the court of law, have refused to attend even their routine office work in the party headquarters. According to BJP party workers, BJP legislators have not been regularly visiting the party office for their routine work. Interestingly, the same leaders have not been seen in the corridors of power. Inside party reports say after the CM's verbal attack on the BJP leaders, party workers have refused to stand behind them and not entertaining their requests to defend them among the masses. It is no political secret the overall image of the party has also dented as these leaders failed to effectively defend themselves. BJP legislators despite announcing their intent to drag the CM to the court of law have refused to move a formal plea against the CM. Undue delay on the part of the BJP leaders have allowed rumour mongering to go and if political grapevine is to be believed the same faces may find it difficult to find favours with the party managers and fail to get the mandate to contest the Assembly polls in the state. |
