| NRHM Paramedics demand regular salary | | | Early Times Report DODA, June 23: Expressing resentment over routine delay in release of their dues, the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) Paramedical Association Doda District today urged the authorities to ensure timely and regular disbursement of their salaries. A meeting of NRHM employees was held during which various problems and issues faced by them were discussed. Speaking on the occasion, Faizan Ali Tramboo said that Government is ignoring the NRHM Employees working in the State as no one of their demands have been consider so far by the Government. He said that we are not getting salary on timely basis due to which we are facing great hardships and at present the NRHM/RBSK/NCD employees are without salary since 4-5 months and all the employees of now at the verge of starvation due to non serious attitude of Govt towards them. Tramboo highlighted various problems and raised the demands which include immediate regularization of all NRHM employees viz Doctors/Paramedics/Management Staff on the pattern of RET after 5 years, Enhancement of salaries at par with others states for NRHM employees besides those working in newly launched NCD and RBSK scheme, He urged upon the Union Health Ministry Dr Harsh Vardhan, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, State Health Minister Taj Mohi-ud-Din and Mission Director NRHM Dr Yash Pal Sharma to personally look into the matter at an earliest so that the NRHM, RBSK and NCD staff may not suffer any more. |
