Dr Gagan submits memorandum to Union Agri Minister 6/23/2014 11:56:28 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 23: Senior BJP Leader Dr. Gagan Bhagat today met Union Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Radha Mohan Singh at New Delhi and presented a memorandum regarding the problems faced by the farmers of the border villages of RS Pura during the paddy cultivation season specially the unprovoked firing at the Indo-Pak International border, the land mine compensation issue and the tail end water issue. Dr Gagan Bhagat also demanded on the directions of Ch. Sham Lal M.L.A Suchetgarh "Soil Testing Labs" at the Panchyat level, and recruiting more agricultural technocrats at the soil testing labs so that the issue of unemployment is also addressed besides benefitting the farmer community. Dr Gagan Bhagat also apprised the Union minister about the status of " Jammu Womens Credit Cooperative Ltd." in which presently there are 32 branches, 350 employees more than 20 thousand membership across the Jammu province, and the credit society is running since 2006 and that without any government aid.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
