| Sharma tours villages in Nowshehra | | |

Rajouri, Sept 25:MLC Ravinder Sharma-Chief Spokesperson JKPCC under took tour of Langar, Dhanaka, Chowki and Gania areas of Nowshera Sub Division and assessed the damage caused to the houses, crops cattle etc and also monitored the arrangements being made by the district administration after the devastating floods and rains.
During the tour Sharma interacted with the people and listen their problems. He also addressed series of meetings and highlighted the problems such as scarcity of drinking water, road connectivity and electricity, besides the ongoing relief measures taken by the District Administration.
Sharma announced to provide funds from his MLC's CDF for installation of electric transformers, besides addressing the problem of drinking water. He also provided funds for improving road connectivity in some pockets of the area. Sharma also met the officers of various departments and asked them to expedite the relief measures so that the people could re-construct their shelters before the winter. |
