Bailable warrants against ex-Jammu SSP Atul Goel, SI

JAMMU, Sept 25: Special Municipal Mobile Magistrate Kamlesh Pandit has issued bailable arrest warrants against ex-Jammu SSP Atul Goel, who at present is on deputation with NIA, and SI Ajay Singh Bandral, then incharge Police Post Parade here.
The warrants to the tune of Rs 5,000 were issued in a contempt petition filed by Mohammad Aslam of Baba Jeevan Shah Mohalla, Shahidi Chowk, against Rattan Singh, incharge Police Post Parade , SI Ajay Singh Bandral, then incharge Police Post Parade Jammu, Mahesh Sharma, then SHO Police Station Pacca Danga and Atul Goel, then SSP, Jammu.
The counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondents had deliberately not complied with the court orders in the case of burning of the petitioner's daughter outside Ladies Park here. Aslam had filed contempt petition, alleging unfair investigation by the Jammu police in the case.
It may be mentioned that Lal Zohra wife of the petitioner had also filed a complaint under section 302 of RPC against accused Sanjay Sharma of Doda in the Court of CJM, Jammu, alleging unfair and tainted investigations and sought monitoring of the investigations in the matter.
The CJM had forwarded the same in original to SHO of Police Station Pacca Danga with the direction to proceed under law and investigate the matter expeditiously but till date as per the allegation of the petitioner the accused has not been arrested in the case which should be now converted into Section 302 of RPC. Zohra has alleged that her daughter was murdered.
