Kathua, Sept 25: Clinical diagnostic Laboratories which have mushroomed all across are playing with innocent lives by presenting inaccurate reports and the authorities concerned are inert. Joginder Paul, who got a blood sugar fasting test done at two different clinical laboratories of the town got huge difference in the findings.
Sigma Clinical Laboratory projected his blood sugar level as 497 Mg/dl while, Care Well Clinical Laboratory given the result of same test as 358 Mg/dl on same date and time. The two reports of the similar tests of a Patient Joginder Paul presented by these two different clinical laboratories have left the patient frustrated and confused. The reports have raised serious question mark on the credibility of the clinical laboratories in Kathua and also indifference of the authorities who have mandate to control them.
While understanding the sensitivity of the case, CMO admitted that such laboratories are presenting inaccurate clinical reports of the patients and he advised the victim to knock the door of court against such laboratories. |
