| India-Pak holds flag meet, discusses clearing of 'wild growth' on IB | | | Early Times Report Samba, Sept 25: Border Security Force (BSF) and Pak Rangers held a casual contact flag meeting at Chamblayal in Ramgarh of Samba sector in which both sides discussed issues particularly cutting of wild grass grown up along the International Border (IB) to enhance visibility to keep vigil along border. According to sources, a flag meeting of Border Security Force (BSF) and Pak Rangers was held at Border out Post (BoP) Chamblayal in Ramgarh of Samba district. Indian side i.e. Border Security Force (BSF) 200 Bn headed by 2 I/C Sukhjit Bangar and Pak delegation headed by Wing Commander Mohammad Ali of 12 Chenab Rangers met in cordial atmosphere and discussed various issues particularly the clearing of wild growth along International Border (IB). Official sources said that the flag meeting commenced at around 1230 hrs at zeroline at Chamblayal of Ramgarh sector in Samba District and concluded at around 1330 hrs. The two sides reportedly discussed the wild growth (Sarkanda) along the International Border (IB) which is resulting into 'poor visibility' to keep vigil along the International Border. Meanwhile sources added BSF manning the border has re-structured the parts of fencing and some border posts which have suffered damages during recent flash floods triggered by the torrential rains to keep vigil and guard along the borderline with Pakistan. |
