Jammu, Sept 25: CBSE in collaboration with the ministry of HRD had conducted an online essay writing competition' on the occasion of Gurutsav Sept. 5, 14.Students throughout India had participated in it , out of which 135 students were selected to be honoured . 31 of the students were from Kendriya Vidyalayas and 4 students from Kendriya Vidyalaya Jammu reigon. The felicitation ceremony was held today at K V No. 2 Jammu Cantt. under the aegis of A V L J Rao ,Deputy Commissioner KVS , Jammu Region and M Laxminarayana , the venue Principal. The Chief Guest Hon'ble Sh. A V L J Rao DC KVS,JR gave away the prizes which consisted of a cash prize of Rs 5000 each along with books worth Rs 500 to the awardees. The awardees are Mansi Jasrotia KV no 2 Jammu cantt., Ujjwel Balwal KV No 1 Udhampur, Mohit Thakur KV Sunjwan Jammu, Jyotirlata Aakula Army Public School Jammu Cantt. and Akash Radha of KV Damana Jammu.
Certificates of appreciation duly signed by the HRD Minister Smt Smiriti Irani were also given to the TGTs of K V No 2 Jammu Cantt. for their excellent result in CBSE Class X . The teachers who received the certificates are. Amardeep Kour, Sudesh Kumari, Reena Verma, Gurreet Reen Samik Sahwney, Nirmal , Renu Mattoo, Anjali Raina ,Rajni Bhan, Ritu Sharma, Meenakshi Manhas, Premchand, Vandana Suri, Darshana Menia, Suvarsha Katal, Rajeshwar and Rakesh Kumar .
The DC KVS ROJ congratulated the students from different schools and teachers of KV No. 2 Jammu Cantt. for bringing honour to the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and hoped that in the future also they and others also will excel in all areas. |
