Poonch, Sept 25: Another distribution camp was organised in Poonch by Indian Army in collaboration with the district administration at Pritam Spiritual Trust, Poonch. On this occasion a wheelchair and a pair of crutches were given to two handicapped persons by Pritam Spiritual Trust. The major contributors for the flood relief camp were the ex students of Bombay College of Journalism, Pritam Spiritual Trust and 831 Light Regiment. Fifty flood affected families were given a package which consisted of utensils, blankets and ration. On this occasion the Arvind Kumar Sharma, ADDC Poonch, Colonel V Ravi Shankar, KK Kapoor CEO(Retd), Maulana Mohammed Sayyed and Advocate Sanjay Raina were present. The event was coordinated by Pradip Khanna who has played a key role in conduct and planning of the entire relief camp along with the army unit. While addressing the affected families the efforts of Priyanka Chatterjee, Prof Jagbir Singh Sudan and 831 Light Regiment for the entire relief operation was appreciated by one and all. |
