Thngeryot, Bimliya panchayat members oppose Tehsil status to Triyath
9/25/2014 11:08:50 PM
Rajouri, Sept 25 : While inhabitants of Triyath and its adjoining areas have been asking the State government to construct tehsil office at Triyath at the earliest, the inhabitants of Thngeryot and Bimliya panchayats, which are to be attached with newly established Triyath tehsil, have protested against this move and demanded that they would like to remain in Sunderbani tehsil. Inhabitants of Thangeryot and Bimliya panchayats said that Triyath is not properly connected via roads with these panchyats and the people will face many problems while Sunderbani is easily connected and for the last 60 years people have been visiting Sunderbani for their routine works. Sham Lal, Suresh Kumar, sarpanch, Tantar Singh and many others said that the matter has already brought in the notice of concerned officials at Sunderbani and any such move will be strongly opposed by the inhabitants of these Panchyats. Meanwhile inhabitats of Triyath and its adjoining panchyats have appealed to the state government to start the construction work of tehisldar office at Triyath as announced by the government. They said that some rumors are in the air that on the directions of some politicians tehsildar office may be shifted to some other place for political benefits. People warned against any such move and and demanded immediate construction of tehsildar's office at Triyath. Pertinent to mention that at present tehisildar is running his office at PWD Dak Bunglow at Triyath and has denied any attempt to shift the tehsildar office from Triyath.
