Jammu, Sept 25: Expressing his concern over mounting problems of the common masses, contesting candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment, Amrik Singh Reen, today said that the present dispensation headed by National Conference has led coalition has lost its credibility due to its wrong policies and asked people to vote out the present regime in coming polls. Addressing a function at Party Office, Gandhi Nagar in which a number of youth of Raipur Satwari area joined PDP, PDP leader Reen said that during the last nearly six years this regime has done nothing expect promises to solve basic problems of the common masses. He said that the working of the present coalition govt has exposed as it failed to come to the expectations of the people during heavy rain fall and floods. While pointing towards the shortage of ration, acute scarcity of water and power crises, he said that the State has been plunged into the unprecedented crises due to wrong policies being pursued by the NC led coalition. "People of State have lost faith on NC led regime as this government has done nothing on ground", he said, adding, "achievements of the governments confined only on papers as this regime is more particular about issuing press statements and conducting photo sessions to hoodwink the gullible people". Calling upon the people to teach a lesson to the NC in the coming Assembly elections, he said that wrong policies of the government were responsible for woes of the people. A large number of youths and political activists joined PDP in presence of State Secretary Surinder Choudhary, Harmeet Singh, Varinder Singh Sonu, Deepak Handa, Sunil Bhat and others. |
