Jammu, Sept 25 : Principal Sessions Judge V C Koul upheld one year imprisonment to Kuldeep Singh of R S Pura Jammu which was given by the judicial magistrate in a case of causing death by accident.
On 10.03.2006, at 11.50 am, information through reliable sources was received by Police Station, Kathua, that a bus bearing registration No 7157/JK02F, which was on its way from Jammu to Kathua and was being driven by its driver rashly and negligently, hit a tractor (JK08/1421) on the national highway near Sahar Khad. After hitting the tractor, the bus fell from the bridge, resulting in grievous injuries to passengers. Out of them, four succumbed to the injuries later and others were taken to Kathua, Hospital.
On getting this information FIR No.67/2006 for the commission of offences punishable under section 279/337/338/304-A RPC was registered with the police Station, Kathua. (JNF) |
