Jammu, Sept 27: National Congress Party has criticized Gulam Nabi Azad, who has demanded assembly elections in state, instead of talking about rehabilitation of flood affected families.
According to press release, the NCP youth president Gourav Kapoor said that Ghulam Nabi Azad and his team of ministers were not worried about the colossal loss to the people and their rehabilitation from Lakhanpur to Poonch upto Banihal to Udhampur Pancheri to Bhaderwah and total Kashmir valley and Kargil and Ladakh.
"Most of the Congress ministers particularly from Jammu province who are holding Irrigation, Flood control, Roads and Buildings, Housing, Urban development and Education are responsible for not properly spending the funds provided by the central govt under various flood control schemes and now the Congress party and its ally also trying to utilize flood relief to strengthen their vote bank politics.
Instead of sharing the grief and sorrows of victims of flood are playing votebank politics this is the clear joke with the public where right from farmers, labourers, businessmen, Transporters, Hoteliers and all section of society have suffered even they don't have approach to their villages, electricity, water supply", he said. |
