In this suit filed by Joint Secretary Sudershan Mehta & Vice Chairman Rakesh Kumar that no such committees had been constituted by the Working Committee in election meeting of 12-05-2014. As per minutes of 2009 & 2011 of the Working committee, Various Sub-committees including selection committees were constituted. It is further submitted by the Jammu wing office bearers that there is a direction by Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srinagar that appropriation of funds has to be backed by recorded decision of body of office bearers elected on 12-05-2014, the General Secretary without recording the decisions of body of office bearers had been using the funds of the Association which is already under the scanner of scams. In this case, it was submitted that General Secretary without any authority had acted in violation of constitution of Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association and it is only Working Committee who had got mandate under the constitution to constitutes various Sub-Committee & no office bearers single handed can usurp the powers of Working Committee, after hearing the counsel of the Jammu wing office bearers the court has found prima facia case in their favour consequently stayed the notifications by virtue of which selection committee & the committee which is usurping the functioning of Jammu wing office bearers. It is emphasis here that the Jammu wing office bearers has also appealed to BCCI and have taken up this matter with the Secretary, BCCI that there is no question of shifting the National matches from Jammu to Mohali, which are scheduled to be held in J&K, as the Jammu wing is fully equipped and prepared to host the National Matches. From the sources, it has been known that a highly profile delegates have also met BCCI and made them aware that the Hostel Ground at Jammu is fully geared up and readily available for hosting National matches as the grounds available here meets the benchmark prescribed by the BCCI and during winter seasons it is not possible to host matches in Srinagar, it has been informed by the BCCI that within days they will send the observers to find the truth so that large numbers of people of J&K might not be deprived of watching many National & International players inaction at local stadiums and this gives chance to the budding cricketers to excel their techniques and same acts moral boosters for the players. In the meantime office bearers of Jammu wing Sudershan Mehta, Joint Secretary & Rakesh Kumar, Vice Chairman hereby informed that the players under different categories shall report at 04 PM on 28-09-2014 in Hostel Ground, GGM Science College, Jammu for participating in ongoing process of Selection, any player who failed to report as instructed by the Jammu wing shall not be entertained in future for considering them in the selection trials under various age groups. The camps which has been running illegally in private academies had got no authority to entertain the boys who have toiled hard and they are playing with the career of budding cricketer at the behest of those who have got no cricketing sense and experience in the field of administration of the cricket, any funding on these private camps by so called representatives of association amounts to misappropriation of funds of JKCA which has got no mandate of Working Committee and funding is also illegal as no recorded decision has been made by the body of office bearers. |
