RAMBAN, Sept 27 : On the fifth day of its state wide campaign initiated on the directions of Chief Justice, J&K, Justice MM Kumar, the Chief Judicial Magistrate(CJM), Ramban, Yahaya Firdoz accompanied by Sub-Judge, Batote, Pawan Kumar Sharma today distributed relief material among 150 families affected by the flood or landslide in Batote tehsil. The relief material consisted of clothes and eatables. On the occasion about 200 persons were also examined and provided free medicines in a Medical Camp organised by a medical team headed by BMO, SKME, Batote, Dr.Manzoor Ahmed in the premises of Court Complex . Tehsildar Srinath Suman, Naib-Tehsildar, Saifullah Shah, advocates ZD Babar, PB Katoch and MS Malik besides SHO, MI Choudhary, TSO, Batote, Ashwani Kumar and TSO, Assar, Tariq Hussain were also present on the occasion Speaking on the occasion, CJM, Firdoz apprised the victims about the noble gesture of the Hon'ble High Court for the victims of the affected areas. He also exhorted them to avail the services of Free Legal Aid Clinics or Lok Adalats for resolving their disputes speedily free of cost. He claimed that so far in 5 such camps in Gool, Banihal and Ukhral hundreds of such victims were provided relief material and free medical aid. |
