| DM places judicial clerk under suspension inRajouri | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Sept 27 : Rajouri District Magistrate Jatindera Singh today placed a judicial clerk under suspension and ordered an inquiry after he allegedly forged a document for shifting bovine animals of nomads. According to sources, there were so many complaints against Azeem Makbool, a junior assistant who was working as judicial clerk in District Magistrate (DM) office Rajouri, with regard to alleged cheating and involvement in corrupt practices and issuance of fake permissions. The DM called some records of judicial section for verification and found Azeem having allegedly issued a permission of animals in favour of Mohammad Tabreez, son of Mohammad Aslam of Jawahar Nagar and dispatched it as dispatch No 700 dated 22 September 2014 but entry of the date of issue under the hand and seal of Additional District Megistrate Rajouri some three months back. The said circular was issued some three months back to simplify the procedure for transportation of animals to pastures by nomads having seasonal permits during summer. The order further reads that the said clerk confessed before the DM Rajouri and said that the said documents were allegedly doctored by him by forgery and handed over to the said Mohammad Tabrez. Sources said that there is apprehension that the said Judicial clerk might have indulged in issuance of fake armed licenses and permissions by doctoring the signatures and tempering of record and to ascertain the fact ACR Revenue Jagdev Singh Sambyal shall conduct an inquiry and submit report within ten days. |
