Jammu, Sept 27: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) while highlighting the problems of internally displaced Kashmiri Pandits from the valley has urged the state government to settle long pending burning issues of the community which was hounded out from their homes and hearths over twenty five years ago According to KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri stated that KPs continue to be on cross roads and in exile from the last two decades after their community got badly devastated by flood of terrorism, mobocracy, fundamentalism and tsunami of ethnic cleansing. He said that Union government should hold parlays with community leadership on the grave problems being faced by it and for one time and one place settlement in the valley. He also stressed that Govt. of India should fulfill its promises made with displaced Pandits who are leading miserable life, ignored, isolated and have become rootless. Other KPC activists who expressed similar views were, R.L.Raina, Rinku Razdan, SL Zuthsi, Ashok Raina,Nana Ji , M.L.Matto and others |
