| Conman deceives women, escapes with 17 tolas | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 27 : A woman and her daughter were allegedly duped by a 'conman' outside Chopra Nursing Home in Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) premises, this afternoon.
Sources said that a woman identified as Jevan Kour of Nanak Nagar along with her daughter Jasveer Kour was going somewhere and while passing outside the Chopra Nursing Home they noticed a 'conman' who was sitting on footpath.
Sources further said that the 'conman' offered them to double the ornaments which they were wearing with his special powers and the duo offered him their ornaments total weighing around 17 tolas .Later, the conman managed to escape from the spot along with the ornaments.
Women reported the matter to police post GMC and a case in this connection has been registered and hunt to nab the conman is on. |
