| Drive to make the educational institutions functional launched | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 27: Carrying Forward relief/rehabilitation drive in flood affected areas, J&K Police, extended solace to the residents of flood affected areas especially to make the educational institutions properly functional, maintained there educational institutes at Saidgarh, Shibu Chak in Bishnah area and Kullian in Miran Sahib areas for the benefit of school children. Blankets were also distributed among flood affected populace in these areas as well. The overgrowth grass and trees were also cleared in the adjoining areas. The road and surrounding area of Shamshaan Ghat in Kullian was also maintained and make it worth to walk which was badly affected during heavy rains.
The people were also made aware about the precautions and maintenance of sanitary and hygienic conditions in the vicinity for ensuring healthy and disease free environment in order to avoid chances of outbreak of any disease. |
