Jammu, Oct 4: Vichar Kranti Manch organized a debate cCompetition today on "Life and Teachings of Mahatma Gandhi on Moral Values" in Himmat Learning Field Higher Secondary School, Channi Himmat, Jammu.
According to press release, Prof. V.P. Gupta, a renowned Educationist was the Chief Guest of the function, Shreyansh Kumar Jain, President VKMI presided over and Ram Gopal Sharma, Vice President and Yash Pal Sharma Joint Secretary were the Guests of Honor. Eight students from various Schools participated in the Competition. Jain in his speech stressed the need to inculcate the Moral Values in children instead of Materialism and worldly things. For providing materialistic things to the children we are striving hard and when they become habitual of the deteriorated habit, again we strive to get rid of the same.
Ram Gopal Sharma, Guest of Honor and Prof. V.P.Gupta also spoke on the occasion and tried to make the students understand that simply repeating the teaching of Mahatma Gandhi is not sufficient, important is to act upon and inculcate Moral, Ethical & Spiritual Values. |
