Jammu, Oct 4: A massive tree plantation drive was carried out in Air Force School Jammu in collaboration with the social organization Vision J&K. Dr V. S. Senthil Kumar IFS DFO Jammu was the chief guest for the occasion.
He was received by Flt Lt Sunaina Chahar and Vikesh Sandhal , Principal Air Force School Jammu. Various trees such as Acacia, Bahunia, Pinus, Rockburgii, gulmohar, Amla, Buteamonosperma etc were planted in the drive.
A team comprising of 25 senior students, teachers and Dr Abhishek Sachdeva, Abhay Nayyar and Rahul Raina from Vision J&K actively participated in the campaign. Students were enthusiastic about the campaign and pledged to protect and conserve the trees. Vision J&K is a forerunner with such projects. Recently they organized a medical camp in Jammu. They also promised full support to the students in future as well. |
