JKCA takes note of ‘illegal’ selection committee 10/4/2014 10:16:38 PM Jammu, Oct 4: The court of Additional District Judge, Jammu in a suit titled 'Ravinder Singh & others Vs Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association & others' on interim application vide order dated 04-10-2014 had restrained M. L. Nehru from acting as General Secretary and he remained suspended & restrained from acting or representing Kashmir Cricket Club, Srinagar in any manner or as capacity as per letter no JKCA/K-GS/S/2214-2217 dated 14-03-2011 issued by then General Secretary of the JKCA. The plaintiffs have sought a declaration in this suit declaring the election of M. L. Nehru as Null & Void and also taking any decision for JKCA in a capacity as General Secretary of JKCA and for restraining M. L. Nehru from holding meeting of office bearers on 05-10-2014 pertain to the notice published in local daily. It is a new twist in the prevailing affairs of JKCA whereby the selection committee illegally constituted by the General Secretary and another committee constituted illegally & unauthorisedly usurping the powers of Jammu wing by selecting teams under various groups among these players who were not shortlisted by Jammu wing neither participated in any camps held from June, 2014 till date.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
