Declare disaster in J&K as natural calamity:JKNPP
JKNPP ‘Anshan’ enters third day

Udhampur, Oct 4: Demanding from Union government to declare disaster in state as natural calamity, the Anshan launched by Jammu Kashmir National Panther Party state president and MLA Udhampur, Balwant Singh Mankotia's Anshan entered 3rd day.
Mankotia demanded the Central government to declare the recent floods in the state as "National Calamity" so that people can get adequate succor. Mankotia said its irony of the people particularly Udhampur district that succor provided by other states including Chhattisgarh , damaged and stinking due to callous and negligent attitude of the district administration .
He added that thousands of quintal rice and other ration get rotten due to non proper distribution and care, in fact this ration may ease the huger of flood affected people of state in particular people of far flung areas of Udhampur district. Mankoita said Government has failed to provide shelter to thousand of families who are force to remain in open, not even a single family has been provided tent, thousand heaters of agriculture land has been slided and but no assessment has been made by District Administration. He demanded that relief and rescue work should immediately be started on war footing to further save the agriculture land & half damage houses at every panchyat of far flung are and immediate restoration of power & water supply in all hilly areas should be ensured .
Mankotia asked the concerned departments to prepare DPRs (Detail Project Report) for Udhampur constituency to further save losses due to land slide.
He appeal the Centre government to impose governor rule in the state and keep the whole amount at the disposal of the governor & not the state government because the people have no trust on the coalition government.
