Party mandate to outsider would not be accepted, say Congress leaders from Bani | | | Early Times Report
Bani, Nov 5: Like BJP's approach of imposition of MLA candidate from outside of the constituency, the Congress will never tolerate and accept such practice in distribution of MLA ticket for Bani constituency would not be accepted, it was stated by senior Congress leaders from Bani today. The Congress workers Thakur Dass, Bani Tehsil president, Sadhu Ram president Bani block, Guljari Lal Youth president, Chet Ram Duggan block president also warned to stage a strong opposition if candidate of MLA seat for Bani would be imposed from out of the constituency. Worried Congress workers demanded mandate from the congress high command in favour of former finance minister and congress leader Prem Sagar Aziz who won the MLA seat from Bani in 2002 assembly election. They urged the congress high command the Prem Sagar Aziz is a local and matured popular congress leader whose working for the upliftment of this far-off area and strengthening Congress from lower to top level is the greatest evidences of his meritorious and value based politics. They said people have deepen their trust and understanding with Prem Sagar Aziz due to which he has been grown as a solid mass leader in the Bani constituency that is the main factor of ensuring his victory. It was urged the congress high command on the behalf of ability and aptitude of the Prem Sagar should be preferred while making any announcement in connection of ticket for MLA seat from Bani constituency. |
