Jammu, Nov 5: Anil Kumar of Samba clinched sprint gold in under-19 category on the opening day of the Inter-District State Athletics meet, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at BSF Stadium, Paloura, here today.
The second place went to Aadish Baloria of Jammu district while Ashish Dahiya of Udhampur remained third.
The 100 meters gold in under-17 category went to Ramandeep Singh of Kathua. Sahil Kumar of Jammu and Ishfaq Rashid of Gandarwal secured second and third place respectively.
Earlier, the competition was declared open by District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu, Sukhdev Raj Sharma.
