Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 5:Resented over shifting of Naibat the resident of ten villages today held protest against state government.
According to press release, the resident of ten villages were gathered at revenue training institute Gole Gujral and shouted slogan against Government order for including them in newly created Panchayat Marh and Naibat Shahzadpur from existing Naibat Gole and Tehsil Jammu.
Protestors strongly opposed the order (creation of new administrative unit) for including villages Gole, Sehora, Ranjitpur, Kharbuje, Chakgulami, Gujral, Dhamal, Tarlokpur, Hazooribag and Kheyarian in newly created Shahzadpur Naibat.
They alleged that they have been cheated in the name of said order. "People were expecting Gole to be elevated to Tehsil level for benefit of people but were shocked by finding themselves out of Gole Naibat, it is beyond understanding that even people of Gole itself have been ousted and forced to travel a distance of about 15 km to Shahzadpur", the protestors said.
They further said that the objective behind the creation of new units was to provide facility to common man on door step and not to harass people. As per previous order in Gole Naibat, people of above said villages had to cover a maximum distance of about 1-2 km against 15-18 km as per new order which is not justified. They said order seems to have been issued without any ground work with malafide intension and is anti public. The protesters that instead of providing facility to the people on door step as claimed, they are being forced to face more problems by issuing such arbitrary, meaningless and anti people orders, which cannot be accepted.
Protestors alleged that possiblity of foul play for political gain cannot be ruled out
. Protestors urged the CM to get matter probed and withdraw the order in the interest of public without any delay.
