Jammu, Nov 29: Food Craft Institute, Jammu is successfully running short term courses under the Scheme Hunar Se Rozgar Tak, sponsored by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India in the following trades, totally free of cost. The Students are provided free books, free journals, free uniform and free meals and certificate and stipend on successful completion of their course. The courses included Food Production, Food & Beverage Services, Bakery & Patisserie, and Housekeeping. The aim of this is to reduce the rate of unemployment by empowering the students to succeed in today's dynamic world by integrating technical knowledge, professional skills and career focused education as per their individual interest and capabilities. Today, students who had undergone 8-weks course in Food Production took their test with full enthusiasm (both theory and practical).They prepared/cooked variety of dishes, as their practical test like Honey Crispy Cauliflower, Kadai Paneer, Chilly Paneer, Dal Makhani, Soya Nuggets, Tawa Roti, Plain Rice, Mix Veg and other items. There were around 23 students who successfully completed their 8 weeks course/training in Food Production and took the test. |
