Preparations in full swing for Modi's rally in Kathua 12/9/2014 11:43:27 PM Early Times Report KATHUA, Dec 9: The preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled election rally on December 13 in Sports Stadium, Kathua are going on at full swing. The stadium has been completely sealed and was made out of bounds for general public due to security purposes and even entry and exit of security men are also closely monitored while Metal detectors have been installed on the main gates of the stadium. The officials from security and local administration are reviewed the latest progress for the preparation by making frequent visits to the venue of the PM's rally. The Anti- bomb squads have started search operations and are not leaving any square of the ground unchecked. The security has also been enhanced on National highway and link roads as well where dozens of new barricades have been installed. Special Protection Group (SPG), overlooking the security of PM today reviewed the security arrangements and convened a meeting with officials to further enhance the security grid in and around the stadium. Meanwhile, enthusiastic BJP workers decked the whole city and adjoining areas where door to door campaign has also been started to make the rally successful.
