12/9/2014 11:45:56 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 9 : In an application filed by “Hari Om Jagran Sanstha” seeking permission for organizing Jagrata in much publicized Public Interest Litigation in which Division Bench directed respondents that the parade play ground should not be used for any other purpose except sport activities, today A Division Bench of state High Court Comprising Chief Justice MM Kumar and Justice Tashi Rabstan after hearing Advocate Ajay Abrol for the applicant, observed that that no permission could be granted to organize a jagrata at the Parade Ground because the cause of sport will suffer during the period jagrata is to be held. Moreover, cleanliness is the first causality in such like functions as there would be flood of such applications. If one is permitted, it would not be possible to refuse the other. With these observations Division Bench express their disability to grant permission and dismiss the application.
