Kathua, Dec 9 : Govt Degree College (GDC) Kathua today organized a formal felicitation ceremony to felicitate Cadet Guneet Singh, who had arrived to state after attending NCC's prestigious camp at Vietnam as a part of Youth Exchange Programme (YEP).
A formal function was organized by the Cadets under the supervision of the Associate NCC Officer, Lt Sandeep Chaudhary of 1 J&K Armd Sqn NCC in the Chamber of College Principal where Principal of the college Dr B L Gupta felicitated the cadet by presenting a trophy to him and also lauded his achievements.
"NCC cadet Guneet Singh was selected for YEP during the time he was attending the Republic Day Camp 2014 at New Delhi, college spokesperson stated and said that Principal GDC Kathua also applauded the efforts of the Associate NCC Officer, Lt Sandeep Chaudhary, who has taken the College NCC to new heights due to his dedication and devotion towards NCC.
In the end Lt Sandeep Chaudhary, Associate NCC Officer, thanked the Principal for showing his full faith in him and for his full cooperation and guidance for the successful ventures of the NCC Cadets who participate in different Camps at state , national and international level. During the NCC Youth Exchange Programme the NCC Cadets from different states including Guneet Singh have visited Temple of Literature at Hanoi, Indian Embassy in Vietnam, Ha Long Bay, Martial Art Club.
