Ahmedabad, Dec 26: The Narendra Modi government gave the bureaucracy another makeover today, filling key posts and introducing fresh talent while rearranging middle-rung civil servants in several ministries.

Ajay Narayan Jha, officer on special duty in the finance commission, has been made an additional secretary in the ministry of finance. The 1982-batch IAS officer from the Manipur-Tripura cadre is going to the department of expenditure.
Three 1984-batch officers - Alok Srivastav, Rashmi Shukla Sharma and T Jacob - will take up responsibilities as additional secretaries in the shipping, panchayati raj and personnel & training ministries respectively.
