JAMMU, Dec 26: Celebrating its glorious 23 years, Jammu and Kashmir Public School, Kunjwani, celebrated the most awaited annual happening 'Annual Day' for Senior Wing with great fanfare on the second day. The theme for the celebrations was 'Rishtey' - a bond of love and relationships and honoring 'Girl Child'. Sham Lal Sharma, Former Minister of J&K, was the Chief Guest for the event. Raj Daluja, Chairman JK Educational Society, Davinder Daluja, Patron JK Educational Society, Sidharth Daluja, Gautam Daluja and Brig. Sukhdev Singh, Director, JK Educational Society graced the occasion with their gracious presence. Lightening of the lamp marked the inauguration of the extravaganza. The programme was ushered in by a welcome dance. The Principal, SK Singh in his address presented the school report tracing the progress, major events and achievements of the school. The students presented a colourful spray of their talents by dancing to the tunes of various songs. The students resplendent in their colourful attires displayed skills and enthralled everyone. The beautiful play based on the theme had a message for the fast changing society. The Jkiians pledged to not only recognize their parents efforts but also thank them, for they have sacrificed their today for our tomorrow. |
