CAPD convenes meeting with gas distribution agencies | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Dec 26: Department of Consumer Affairs Public Distribution (CAPD) Assistant Director TP Singh today convened a meeting with Gas Distribution agencies here at Kathua. According to press release, the PAHAL scheme schedule to be launched across the country from 1st Januarty'2015. TP Singh detailed the agencies that the department of CAPD is going to start new scheme called PAHAL (DBTL) from 1st January 2015 under which subsidy of the domestic LPG cylinder will be directly deposited in bank account of the LPG consumer. He passed directions to the LPG Gas Agencies to educate all LPG consumers so that they can join the Modified DBTL scheme by providing Aadhaar Number or 17 digit bank account with their respective LPG distributors. On joining the scheme consumer will get the subsidy in their account to confirm this, they can check their CTC status on www.mylpg.in. All customers who have joined the scheme till 01/01/2015 will start getting LPG cylinder at market price and cash subsidy in their bank accounts. He further informed that the consumer can also register their mobile numbers with LPG distributors so that they can avail the booking facility through SMS.
