Early Times Report

Jammu, Dec 26: Despite the continuous protests held by the candidates of the Jail Warder post in prison department Jammu, their demands have not been attended.
The shortlisted candidates while staging protest demonstration said that they will continue their struggle till their goal is achieved.
The government has turned deaf ears to their demands, despite the support of many political and non-political organizations. The final selection list is pending from over the last four years and protests have been held demanding the release.
It was informed that about 41182 unemployed youth had applied for the post advertised in local dailies in 2005 and 1247 candidates were shortlisted for the interview, which was held in the month of September 2010.
Even after more than four years since the interviews, the final selection list has not yet been released.
