Jammu, Dec 26: The Sikh United Front is going to celebrate the Parkash Purab of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj at the premises of Digiana Ashram Jammu on 28thDecember, 2014 from 10 am to 4 pm under the Chairmanship of Shriman 108 Mahant Manjit Singh JI of Shiromani Dera Nangali Sahib Poonch. In a press conference, addressing the media persons, S. Avtar Singh Khalsa Gen Secy. J&K Sikh United Front said that the Parkash Purab of Guru Gobind Singh Ji is being celebrated by the Sikh Sangat of Jammu & Kashmir. He said that the celebrations will held according to the Sikh Nanak Shahi Calendar with the cooperation of Sikh United Front & many other religious & social organization of Sikh Community including J&K Sikh United Front Sri Guru Ramdass Sewa Charitable Trust, all the Sikh organization of J&K, all the Sikh Noujawan Sabha, the local Guruwaras Management Committees. S. Avtar Singh said that many famous & popular Ragies Preachers & Dhadies including, Bibi Ashitoshpreet of Jallandhar , Bhai Manpreet Singh Hazoori Ragi of Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Delhi, Dhachijatha Bhai Amrik Singh of Pathankot Punjab, and Bhai Parvinder Singh Ragi, Bhai Bachan Singh Ragi, Bhai Gian Singh Ragi & Bhai Ranjit Singh UP of Jammu will also be participating. He further said that Guru Ka Langer shall also be served among the devotees. S. Avtar Singh appealed the Sikh Sangat & peoples of Jammu to attend the religion congregation & celebrate the birth anniversary (Parkash Purab) of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, who sacrificed their life & their family for the sake of the humanity & the country .
