Srinagar, Dec 26: A local court here has sent two persons involved in alleged acid attack on a law student at Nowshera Srinagar to police remand till January 1.
The court of Sub Registrar sent the accused duo to police custody after police produced them, seeking their remand in connection with the drastic attack on December 11.
On Thursday, police had arrested Irshad Ahmad Wani alias Sunny, a resident of Wazir Bagh area of the city and his accomplice as Mohammad Omar Noor, a resident of Bemina locality here, for throwing the acid on the student. |
