Police solves 'burglary case,' recovers gold items approx 5 tolas | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 26: Jammu Police have solved a burglary case under the jurisdiction of Bakshi Nagar Police Station with the arrest of one person and recovered five tolas of gold ornaments on his diclosures. The accused has been identified namely as Rajinder Singh alias Billu S/o Sohal Singh R/o Panasa of District Reasi, police said. According to police spokesperson, SSP Jammu Uttam Kumar constituted a team for the investigation of burglary case registered at P/S Bakshi Nagar, Jammu. "After thorough and painstaking investigations, the team caught one accused from which stolen gold ornaments and cash worth Rs 5000/- stolen in this case, he said and added, "the value of recovered ornaments is approximately Rs1.5 lakhs." A case FIR No. 136/2014 U/S 457/380/RPC stands registered in this matter and was solved by team of P/s Bakshi Nagar while further investigation is on and some more recoveries are likely to be effected. |
