SBI RSETI holds LAC meeting

Jammu, Dec 26 : A Local Advisory Committee (LAC) meeting of SBI RSETI Bantalab, Jammu today held at PWD Rest House Gandhi Nagar.
According to press release, the meeting was chaired by Ajeet Kumar Sahu, District Development Commissioner Jammu. Convener of the Committee VK Sood, Director SBI RSETI, Jammu, thanked all the participants for sparing their valuable time for the meeting.
Sood, briefed the house about the progress of RSETI, for the quarter ended September, 2014.
He informed that 4 training programmes covering 76 candidates were held by the RSETI in different streams were held by RSETI during the quarter.
He further informed that during the quarter under review 5 awareness camps were held by RSETI in different parts of the district.
Sahu asked the Banks and line Departments for sponsoring candidates to RSETI and also suggested that possibility of holding training courses for Banking/insurance/trades be explored.
He suggested that the beneficiaries of JKSES should also be encouraged to get themselves trained in RSETI.
State Project Manager JKSRLM Jammu Madan Gupta, also gave valuable suggestions and assured the House that every possible help will be extended to RSETI. Officials from various Govt. Departments and Financial Institutions participated in the meeting and gave their valuable suggestions.
JKPTU alleges defect in EVMs, demands enquiry
Jammu, Dec 26: Jammu and Kashmir Panthers Trade Union (JKPTU) has alleged that Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) were hired from Ahmadabad and also bogus voters were responsible for defeat of their candidates.
Addressing a press conference, Sewa Singh Bali State General Secretary said that Harsh Dev Singh had done tremendous work in Ramnagar constituency and was also declared best Legislature in the J&K Assembly and also during his tenure as Education Minister he had brought revolution in the education system in the state but due to bogus vote the Panthers party candidates were declared defeated for which the party patron Prof. Bhim Singh has also taken up the matter with the Chief Election Commissioner of India for conduct of early inquiry.
Bali has also thanked the party workers and voters of his constituency i.e. Banihal who has done faith on me and also assure that he will fight for the cause of justice and will be available at all the times.
