Jammu, Dec 26 : Jammu Pragti Manch (JPM) today celebrated the birth anniversary of Shaheed Udham Singh here at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk.
According to press release, JPM president Brij Mehra said that the participants paid rich tributes to Shaheed Udham Singh by offering flowers to the photo of Shaheed Udham Singh.
He further narrated the saga of Shaheed Udham Singh and asked the people to remember the sacrifice of Udham Singh. Speaking on the occasion, Ramesh Tak demanded that the government should include the chapter of all Shaheeds of motherland in the text books of schools and colleges so that the youth of soil should know about themselves. Sanjeev Gupta, Tejinder Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Ramesh Mehra and Neeraj Mehara were also present on the occasion. |
