Moti Kaul expresses gratitude to migrant voters | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 26 : Senior leader of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) Moti Koul expressed gratitude to all Kashmiri Pandit voters for their wholehearted support to BJP candidates both in the valley as well as in Jammu. According to press release, Moti Kaul said that Kashmiri Pandits have once again expressed their clear intent and profound faith and confidence in BJP lead by Narendra Modi. He disagreed with the reports and canards floated by the political opponents that displaced KPs didn't cast their vote in recently concluded state Assembly Elections. Analysing the response of voters of Habba Kadal constituency statistically, Kaul alleged that the voters of this constituency were reduced to just 5500 in number due to hazardous and cumbersome process of filling up the M Forms and rejecting the various M Forms without assigning any solid reason. 'Out of these voters about 2800 KP voters, constituting about 63%, exercised their right to franchise which is a healthy and encouraging percentage in any democratic set up' he said. He was, however, very critical of J & K administration and Election Commission for their indifference towards repeated representation to enroll the voters and make the exercising of franchise simpler and practical. 'It is for the first time in the political history of J & K that BJP, the genuine nationalist face of India shall play a dominant role in shaping the fortunes of the state in the days to come. BJP is committed to work for the betterment of all the sections of the society without any prejudice, whatsoever," he said, adding Prime Minister Narender Modi has made it clear that he is looking at corruption free and effective governing model in the country which shall flow to the state of Jammu and Kashmir also. |
