BARAMULLA, Jan 4: Jammu and Kashmir police found body of a youth in Nowpora Tujjer area of Sopore town of district Baramulla in North Kashmir on Sunday morning, as Police lodged FIR against Sopore News Agency Whatsapp group admin who spread a false news about the death of a youth in Sopore. According to sources , a youth Umer Ishaq Mir 22, S/O Mohammad Ishaq Mir of Nowpora Tujjer Spore was found dead in Badshah Nallah in Nowpora Tujjer area of Sopore town in the wee hours of Sunday morning. Early Times spoke to the cousin of the deceased, Mudasir Ahmad Mir over the phone who said , " Ist year student of Government Boys Degree College Sopore, Umer Ishaq 22 S/O Mohammad Ishaq Mir R/O Nowpora Tujjer in Sopore area was found dead in nearby Badshah nallah in Telli Mohalla of Nowpora ,just half kilometre away of his house. Mudasir added and said that, the deceased Umer, was the lonely son among five daughters of village headman Mohammad Ishaq Mir, the family is associated with a fruit business. The deceased had went for a hair cut in his area at 5:30 pm on Saturday evening, after which he didn't returned back to his home, however family searched for him till11 Oclock in the evening, than after the dead body of the deceased was found at 07:05 a.m , after which some injuries on the head and theigns of the deceased were found, Mudasir informed. However Station House Officer (SHO) Bomai Sopore, Pirzadha Ateequllah told Early Times that, " Jammu and Kashmir police found a dead body of youth in a suspicious circumstance in Nowpora Tujjer area of Sopore town of District Baramulla in North Kashmir on Sunday morning. " We have done an autopsy of the dead body, and it would be premature to say anything about the cause of death, let the post mortem report come first, only than we can say something, SHO said, However Police has started an investigation about the incident, we have handed over the dead body to the relatives of the deceased for last rites, official informed. Meanwhile Jammu and Kashmir police has lodged an FIR against a rumour monger who have spread a news, 'Sarpanch's son was abducted and later killed in Sopore' in his Whatsapp group, 'Sopore News Agency'. According to senior police official, "we have lodged an First Information Report(FIR) against Shabir Ahmad Dar S/O Ghulam Mohammad Dar R/O Haritar Sopore, vide FIR no 03/2015 u/s 66 IT Act and 505 RPC in police station Bomai. Official said that, after carrying out preliminary investigations it was found that there was no truth about the news report, which was posted by a group admin of Sopore News Agency Whatsapp group. "Law will take its own course and action will be taken against the Whatsapp group admin, who turned out to be a rumor monger, official informed. |
