Early Times Report

JAMMU, Jan 4: Not keeping the promises made with the people BJP Member Parliament (MP) and State President Jugal Kishore Sharma remained absent from Lok Sabha for 21 days out of the total 55 days of three sessions of Lok Sabha so far after being elected to the Lower House of the Parliament.
As far as the Special Session of the Lok Sabha is concerned, that was held in between 04.06.2014 to 11.06.2014, Jugal's attendance was 100 percent. Similarly Sharma attended 26 proceedings of the Budget session out of total 27 proceedings that was held in between 07.07.2014 to 14.08.2014 but he failed to maintain his attendance for the Winter Session as Sharma remained absent for 20 days out of total 22 proceedings of the Winter session that was held in between 24.11.2014 to 23.12.2014.
Astounding is the fact that attendance of other two Member Parliaments from Udhampur-Kathua-Doda Lok Sabha segment Dr. Jitender Singh and Leh-Kargil LS seat Chhewang Thupstan is far better than the attendance of Sharma which is 11 days absence for both the members.
Former MP from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat Madan Lal Sharma called it a failure of the BJP MP, who according to Madan Lal Sharma, had promised all on the name of Modi but delivered nothing on ground.
Sharma said that people of Jammu will come to know in future about the awaited failures from the BJP MP. "When bullets and shells were raining on the border villages, BJP MP was busy in election campaigning and same is the situation along the International Borders now but the BJP is again missing from the scene as he is busy in discussing formation of government", said Madan Lal Sharma.
When Jugal Kishore Sharma was contacted by Early Times about the same, he too admitted that he was busy with elections in Jammu and Kashmir owing to which his absence is 38 percent from Lower House and promised to highlight all the issues of the constituency in future.
