Chadwal, Jan 4:"Better to die in shelling than in relief camps which are set up without basic amenities", affected people yelled in relief camp Middle School Chadwal where people from village Pansar moved after heavy shelling. It is relevant to mention here that the affected people have been moved towards safer place but passed their night open under the sky in relief camp without basic amenities. Affected people are waiting for assistance from administration and live in miserable life. 50 people are accommodated in a room and single blanket has been distributed per family. Whole family passed night in single blanket. Subash Kumar, an affected one, said 300 families have been migrated and adjusted in relief camps without food items, drinking and sanitary facilities. No medical facility has been provided by local administration. Suman Kumari, a Young girl, said it's very difficult to survive in relief camps where dozens of villagers accommodated in a room. Handicapped, elders and children lived tough life. She demanded 5 marlas plot in safe place as per assurance of BJP during Lok Sabha campaign. |
