BJP led government answerable to border people for their miseries: Harsh
1/4/2015 11:11:47 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Jan 4: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party(JKNPP) chairman Harsh Dev Singh today expressed grave concern over the escalation of tensions on the borders and the creation of war like situation there resulting in untold sufferings for the border residents. Pakistan's persistent and violent posturing during the last couple of months had resulted into large scale migrations, loss of precious lives besides extensive damage caused to cattle, agriculture fields, houses and standing crops. Singh further said that the Pakistani Rangers hell bent upon unleashing gun fire and unprovoked mortar shelling, the border residents in several thousands were dislocated and made to suffer untold miseries. Strongly flaying the central and state government for utterly in-adequate and poor response to deal with the crisis where thousands of families had been uprooted, he said that the affected families were highly critical of the respective governments for their apathy and callous approach in mitigating their woes and concerns. Ridiculing the claims of the BJP government of adopting tough stand against Pakistan, he said that it was the same BJP party which had attributed the Pak's mis-adventures in the past to the UPAs diplomatic failures and the latters so called imbecility. He regretted that the Pakistan's aggressive posturing multiplied manifold during BJP rule thus making a mockery of their tall pronouncements and highly inflated claims. He urged upon the international community to take cognizance of Pakistan's violent posturing and large scale human rights violations on the Indian side of LOC and IB.
He further called upon the Union and State governments to provide a permanent solution for the rehabilitation of border migrants who are often displaced due to frequent border shelling.
