| Teacher among two die, two injured | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 4: Two persons including a teacher were killed while two others received injuries in two separate road mishaps in different places on Sunday.
Police said that a Vikas Gupta along with his wife Vandana Gupta and minor son Vardan was going home riding a motorcycle from Jourian and while reaching near Chack Morh, the motorcycle he was riding on collided with a bus resulting death of Vikas and injuries to his son and wife.
The injured identified as Vandana Gupta and Vardan Gupta were sent to nearby hospital and after preliminary treatment referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for advance treatment.
Police said that Vikas was a teacher in a private school a t Akhnoor.
Meanwhile, a 35 year-old man was knocked to death by an over speeding car at Narwal.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Shrief who was a labourer in fruit market Narwal.
Police said that the body was shifted to the mortuary of (GMC&H) and registeration umber of the car has been flashed to all the nakas to arrest the absconding car driver.
Police have registered both the cases in concerned police stations. |
