| Future painters, sculptors’ camp concludes | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 8: Future painters and sculptors' camp which was organized by Studio Dharuba Satya today concluded here at Birpur.
According to press release, seven new generation painters and sculptors participated in the camp. An exhibition of the works created during the camp was displayed and a function was organized on this occasion. Jang S Verman, a well known artist and column writer on art and culture was the Guest of Honour. The participants of the camp were felicitated and awarded the certificates of participation during the ceremony.
The participating painters and sculptors included Mukesh Kumar, Rigzin Paljor and Rachita Dutta (in Painting category) and Naresh Kumar, Tsering Gurmet, Divya Bandral, Ashima and Kaneesh Panotra (in Sculpture Catagory). Speaking on this occasion Jamwal expressed his satisfaction of the success of the camp. He said that more such events will be planned and wished the artist community to share their creative potential with full zeal and spirit.
Meanwhile, Jang S. Verman congratulated all the participants for their whole hearted participation in the camp as was evident from the works created during the camp. |
