NPSU urges Governor to take action against JURSEA president | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 8: Urging intervention of Chancellor of University of Jammu, National Panthers Student Union (NPSU) demanded set an example against so-called self-styled student leader who are misusing the their power and violating the statues of University Addressing the media persons, state president Virender Thakur said that JURSEA president has violated the statutes of the University and got admission in the University. It is important to note that he has joined the revenue training School Jammu and simultaneously pursue the M.Phil in the Urdu Department. He said that on the one side University statues didn't allow two courses on the same time, why some so called student leaders were allowed to violate the University statues. "This is very shock full thing that the student leaders who have to represent the student community and set example for students, they them self are violating the University status by the influence and University authority is silent on the issue," he added and adding if a normal student have done this then the reaction of University would be different. "JU authorities to clear its stand on the violation of the M.Phil and Ph.D statutes by the JURSEA president and HOD Urdu others strong agitation will be launched in the University," he asked. Among others who were presented on the occasion included Lovely Singh, Deepak Sharma, Shubam Jasrotia and others. |
