| MLA Kishtwar calls on DIG Jammu regarding Youth’s murder case | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Jan 8: MLA Kishtwar Sunil Sharma today called on Deputy Inspector General of Police Jammu-Kathua range Shakil Beigh and sought the details regarding the progress of investigation into the murder of Kishtwari youth Umar Akhoon son of Mushtaq Akhoon resident of Paliaz Kishtwar and showed his concern over delay in arrest of the culprits involved in gruesome murder of the Kishtwar youth in broad day light in Christian Colony, Jammu couple of weeks ago. During his meeting with DIG Jammu Shakeel Beigh, MLA Kishtwar demanded constituting of SIT for arrest of the culprits involved in the murder who are still at large. On the request of MLA Kishtwar, DIG Jammu constituted five member SIT headed by SP North Jammu and assured MLA Kishtwar that all the culprits involved in murder of Umar Akhoon will be soon behind the bars. He set a deadline of one week for SIT to administrate the arrest of all the absconders. Earlier MLA Kishtwar also take up the matter with IGP Jammu regarding the same case. MLA Kishtwar was accompanied by Tariq Hussain Keen, Raman Shan & Surinder Gupta. |
